These terms apply to your use of Pocket Tutor at https://pockettutor.shop, operated by thegurukulofai, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

Pocket Tutor is an online study helper. You type a study question and receive an explanation generated by artificial intelligence (AI). Your questions and answers are saved in your account so you can revise later.

2. AI answers

Answers are generated automatically and may sometimes be incomplete or wrong. Use them to help you learn, and check important facts with your teachers, textbooks or other trusted sources. Pocket Tutor is not a substitute for professional, medical, legal or financial advice.

3. Your account

• You must give accurate details (name, mobile number and email) when you sign up.
• Keep your password safe. You are responsible for activity in your account.
• If you are under 18, please use Pocket Tutor with the permission of a parent or guardian.

4. Plans and payments

• Every new account gets 5 free questions.
• After that you can buy one-time question packs listed on our pricing page. Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR). There is no subscription and no automatic renewal.
• Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
• Questions from a pack are added to your account immediately after payment and do not expire.
• Refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the service for anything illegal, harmful, hateful or abusive;
• try to access other users' accounts or data, or get around question limits or payments;
• overload, copy, resell or automatically scrape the service.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

6. Availability

We work to keep Pocket Tutor available, but it may sometimes be slow or unavailable, for example during maintenance or if an AI provider is busy. If an answer fails, the question is returned to your balance.

7. Liability

To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Noida, Uttar Pradesh have jurisdiction over any dispute.
